Gina, parent of Austin, a student at the Transition Program at Beaver Farm, shares why she chooses to participate in #GivingTuesdayCSS:

My son Austin has been at Beaver Farm for two years, and over these two years he has changed dramatically. Austin has autism and epilepsy. He was in a public high school in California before arriving at Beaver Farm. He had no real friends, was withdrawn socially, and only focused on his iPad.

Over the past two years, I have watched my son become a young man. He now has friends, he enjoys being in social groups, and has a true sense of purpose. He loves the animals on the farm (especially the cows). He is so happy living on the farm, which of course makes me happy. Thank you Camphill Special School!
